Toshiba 61″ rear projection – no sound but headphone jack works perfectly..?
I plugged my surround sound system into the 3.5mm output jack of the TV and it worked and still works perfectly, however now when I unplug the separate surround sound system the TV’s own speakers don’t work at all – any ideas on how to fix this?

Cheers Ray, that may just be the case.. although I only plugged it in for the first time a few days ago, it’s an old tv so may have stickiness lol

This could be the connector where you plug the headphone in. They do switch the speakers of if a plug is inserted and after a long time that switch might get stuck. Good Luck
