I just painted my new room. Everything is looking like the perfect man cave but I have limited space. I have one bare wall that looks perfect for a flat screen or a projector. Projectors arnt as good. Quality but are they more impresive than a lcd tv?

I have a Toshiba 56X81 Rear Proj TV that has started “twitching”, but only on standard definition television. HD and DVD seems unaffected. I think it’s the cable box, but this TV has had problems in the past with the input board. It’s an expensive TV that i got for cheap but it is very dear to me, the roommate and the cat. I don’t want to replace it but don’t have the skill to troubleshoot the electronics. The set-top box is Moxi. Anyone had similar issues?

I have a Mitsubishi 52″ WD-52631 HDTV, and this is the second time that my lamp has died WITHIN A MONTH, both times after I had had my TV on for like the whole day. I would like to know if this is what killed my bulb, or, also, how could I make my bulb last longer? I AM ASKING THIS QUESTION because all of my PS3 games say “Warning To Owners of Projection Televisions:
Do not connect your playstation3 system to a projection TV without first consulting the user manual for your projection TV, unless it is if the LCD type. Otherwise, it may permanently damage your TV screen.” Why would it? Can I prevent it any other way that not playing it. Thanks

One day when we turned on our Sony 55″ projection TV, the left side of the screen looks out of focus (red and green are offset from other colors), and on a blank screen, is slightly lighter than the right side. Also, on the far left, there is a dark bar running vertically, slightly curved on the bottom. The right side of the TV looks fine. Any idea what would cause this?
