Problem with RCA P52950 52 in. Rear Projection Television?

when i turn on the tv there doesnt seem to be any red in the video but the blue and green show up. i havent tried anything because i dont know whats wrong with it but im pretty sure a red lamp went out or something. soo what happened and what can i do to fix it?

I have a Panasonic rear-projection 60″ tv which is about to die because of the lamp. I’ve had it replaced twice already, but I don’t want to keep on paying and paying for labor which is $350. I plan on buying a Sony Bravia LCD tv, but my question is; how long will they last and are they good?

We are going to buy a new tv, and my wife wants a rear-projection big screen..but I have heard you have to replace the lamps a lot, and the lamps are expensive…what has been your experience been with these tvs? Also, I heard you can’t see the picture from certain angles in the room..is this true?

Is it difficult to replace the lamp, on my 46″ Toshiba HD DLP Projection TV? It looks easy, but is it really? I know that this bu;b is NOT cheap!

“Foggy” picture on rear projection big screen television?

Hola,
I came across a used big screen recently. I bought it, and everything works, but the picture is pretty foggy/faded. It’s a Sony Videoscope XBR (model #KP-53XBR45). Does anyone know if there’s a quick/cheap/easy solution to my picture problems? It would be a great tv if the picture were better.

I have 57inch mitsubishi tv and it keeps shutting down on me if i watch it longer then a hour…..So i guess i need to change the lamp…..I have never changed the lamp….can anyone give me exact detail on how to change the lamp? or is this something i should let a professional do?
