my tv (sony rear projection kp41t25) has no picture but has sound. It worked less then 2 hrs ago and there was nothing unusal that happend during that time peroid. There in no light coming from the bulbs and absolutly nothing on the screen. the display does not even work. If anyone has any ideas or even wants to purchase a cheap Tv to work ok or purchase the bulbs. PLEASE HELP?

At first the color on the tv had an orange tint to it. Now the color is a dark blue almost black color and i cant see a thing. I took off the back cover and only the blue lamp seemed to be on. The green lamp had very little light and was very dim. And the red lamp had no light. Does anyone no what the problem is and how to fix it please help. thank you

We just recived a mitsubishi 1996 52″ projection screen tv for free and the only problem with it is the red color. When I go to adjust the blue color I can see the diffrent colors and turn them to white with the cross hairs but there is only a white cross hair when I go to the white and it looks like there is a cresent shape out of the side of the screen view. I am assuming that the projection is off…the people said this happend when they moved it to their basement so I am sure that they didn’t keep it level..
Any ideas on how to fix this??

My KDF-50E2000 will come on just fine. The power light blinks green while the TV starts up and then the screen will come up. I could swear that there is some fading in the picture but I can’t really be sure. After a couple of minutes of being on the TV restarts itself, essentially. The screen goes black and the power light is blinking green once again, and after warming up for about 30 seconds the screen comes back up again like nothing happened. What do I do to fix this? I just got the TV from a friend and he said that the lamp has been recently replaced.

I have a big scren that recently has a blue cloud right in the middle of the screen and it’s really annoying. I am wanting to know how much I am looking at into fixing this as this is a great TV and not wanting to get rid of it. What is the cause of this and is it an easy fix? This is not a DLP. Ok so my dad has a 50″ RCA lamp powered tv although it has broken down before from a fuse that short circuted from being disconnected immediately now when i woke up today i turned it on and it made this noise like a rattling noice in the back then the light strated flickering and it just stood like that now i dont know if it’s because sometimes my parents leave it on from amybe 8-2 am please help

I was given a hand down, Samsung PLK435WS Rear Projection LCD. I was told that the “bulb” is brand new, but when I turn the TV on with my my cable box hooked up, the picture is very dark and the colors are way off. It looks like there’s a bright spot on the TV (right in the middle) that seems to dim the rest of the display. It’s very hard to make out lettering and the picture is more vivid and bright on my 20 inch CRT… is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Clean the lamps? Anything at all?

My TV wont turn on and the red lamp light is blinking. At one point it would blink in a series of three blinks. I looked at the lamp and it looked ok. What else could this be?

one of the channels I watch most often only shows picture for a couple of seconds and goes black, leaving audio only. This is the only channel that it does it on. Other tvs in house connected to cable on that channel have no problems. What is the problem? tv or cable box? This model of tv has problems with the lamp and the ballast, but that does not seem to be the problem…Help

Is it possible? My daughted knocked something over which hit the TV screen and it cracked. The screen is not Glass, and I can easily take the TV apart and pop the screeen back into place, but now it has a line going up it from the little crack…

My television just started doing this and when I view the Comcast guide section showing me the different shows available, I can not see the bottom listed show. Also, when watching a show on TV, it will occasionally cut off the top of a persons head only showing the forehead down. Is there a button or switch to adjust this? I have a 50 RCA Projection screen. and the bulb will flicker but it don’t light up. I know the connectors look bad (burned) i cleaned them up with no luck. Can i visually tell if the bulb is bad?
I know my OTHER TV the bulb blew up but i think it has a different kind of bulb

when i turn on the tv there doesnt seem to be any red in the video but the blue and green show up. i havent tried anything because i dont know whats wrong with it but im pretty sure a red lamp went out or something. soo what happened and what can i do to fix it?
