Mitsubishi WL-82913 botom projection TV problem.Hi Folks, I’m new and have a Mitsu WL-82913 that was handed d

The Lamp is not lighting, there is no indication of audio. The front panel LEDs, Lamp, Status and Pwr act as if the unit goes straight to power saver standby mode with the pwr LED blinking fast as soon as its plugged in. Pressing the power button does nothing, pressing the reset appears to run it through the same routine as plugging it in. At least it sounds that way.
I purchased a service manual and to trouble shoot I’ve done the following:
Verified the power supply that supplies the 370 Vdc to the lamp power board present at the correct point.
Exchanged the lamp with a supposed good one. When the lamp was removed I did get the correct “defective lamp” indication at the lamp LED.
The svc manl says that if the 370 Vdc is is present going into the ‘lamp-sub-board’ and the lamp does not light to replace the board. My questions:
Is the “lamp-sub-board” dumb board? Meaning just put power to the input terminals and it fires the lamp?

Mitsubishi WD52528 52″ Projection TV has black screen with sound?

Hello! I have a Mitsubishi WD52528 52″ Projection TV. When i turned it on just now I get no video. The screen turns a a dark black, but brighter than when it is off. However I still get sound out of the TX, and all the functions seem to be working from what I can tell as well. Whats wrong? How much will this cost to fix? Any trouble shooting idea?

Thanks!

mitsubishi 1996 52″ projection screen tv problems..looks like it is warped and the red is off.?

We just recived a mitsubishi 1996 52″ projection screen tv for free and the only problem with it is the red color. When I go to adjust the blue color I can see the diffrent colors and turn them to white with the cross hairs but there is only a white cross hair when I go to the white and it looks like there is a cresent shape out of the side of the screen view. I am assuming that the projection is off…the people said this happend when they moved it to their basement so I am sure that they didn’t keep it level..
Any ideas on how to fix this??

Problems with Mitsubishi projection screen TV?

I have a 52 inch projection TV model # WD-52527. It seems like there are blotches or smudge-like areas behind the screen. If I were to open the back cover, what do I need to clean or remove/clean? Another issue I am having (may possibly be related) is it the brightness. The picture is nowhere near as bright as it used to be. Its gotten to the point where it is impossible to see dark scenes when I have any lights on in the room. I know it isnt the lamp because that was replaced recently.

bought a mitsubishi 57″ hdtv instead of wega 55″ right decision or not?

went and finally talked my wife into buying a new hd tv. i got it to 2 sets the sony 55″ lcd projection wega, or the 57 ” mitsu dlp projection. after the deliberation i went with mitsubishi because of the over all sharper picture and the little bigger screen. now im not disappointed at all in my tv, ive had it two weeks and i think it puts out beautiful picture , but my question to u guys is is the tv i bought a better tv than the sony i mentioned before? im not very familiar with the dlp vs. sxrd technology and really dont know which one is better and more durable. ive also heard that the mitsu is not really a full” 1080p! resolution. please help me guys and let me know if i made a bad decision or not i still have time to fix it if the sony is a better tv in the long haul???? the model no. for the sony tv is KDS55A2000 and the model for the tv i bought is WD-57731 if anyone needs that info the model no. for the mitsu is in the title thanks guys

mitsubishi rear projection remote codes?

A friend of mine bought a 52″ mitsubishi rear projection TV. He got the original remote but we can’t find codes anywhere. I tried mitsubishi but they only have manuals back to 2002 but this is a 1999. (I know it is old but works great and cheap) The tv is a VS_45603 and the remote number is 290p094-A10 or on some sites it was called a 290p094-010. Any help to codes or a place to find them would be great. Thanks

73″ Mitsubishi WD-73734 and XBOX360 using HDMI?

The TV is still brand new just got it 11/20/07 the XBOX a week before. I hooked it up using the Belkin HDMI cable and it worked for awhile but then I experience what looks like railroad track pixels in the text on my 360. I bought the $50 Microsoft 360 cable and it fixed the problem only now it is happening again. I switched to my DVD player which uses a Rocket HDMI cable and it was doing the same thing. The TV is LCD Rear Projection 1080p with DLP. My guess is something is wrong with the TV because when I use the component cables it plays fine every time or is there something wrong with HDMI they are not telling us.

should i buy a 65″ Toshiba DLP rear projection or a mitsubishi 65″ regular DLP?

im shopping for a new big tv and i found a couple at good prices i think…..so im looking for suggestions

the Toshiba is 65″ DLP rear projection for $1500
the Mitsubishi is also 65″ but is a regular DLP for $1900

theyre both 1080p and most everything else si the same too…basically one is rear projction and one isnt……im just wondering if the extra 400 dollars is worth it for the regular dlp instead of projection…because ive heard about all the problems with the lamps in the projection tvs.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated….or if anyone knows where i can get a better deal for a huge newer tv for the price?? Thanks
