I have a big scren that recently has a blue cloud right in the middle of the screen and it’s really annoying. I am wanting to know how much I am looking at into fixing this as this is a great TV and not wanting to get rid of it. What is the cause of this and is it an easy fix? This is not a DLP. This is the old school projection box TV’s, about 5 years old. Thank you!!

My television just started doing this and when I view the Comcast guide section showing me the different shows available, I can not see the bottom listed show. Also, when watching a show on TV, it will occasionally cut off the top of a persons head only showing the forehead down. Is there a button or switch to adjust this? I have looked at the TV menu and nothing seems to help.

the picture is great except it looks like 3-D. does anyone know how to fix this problem or how much it may cost to fix. i think that one of the 3 bulbs may be bad , but it could be anything , PLEASE HELP.
also i cant find the owners manual so can anyone try and run me thru the steps. menu does not show what the 1st guy answerd. if that makes any since.

I just painted my new room. Everything is looking like the perfect man cave but I have limited space. I have one bare wall that looks perfect for a flat screen or a projector. Projectors arnt as good. Quality but are they more impresive than a lcd tv?

so im told that these rear projection/crt hdtv is 1 of the best pictures the plasmas or the more expensive. they are cheaper because the human nature of humans is i got to have what every 1 else has, or the thin tv .Why if every 1 else has a thin hdtv i want want too. Currently I have a 50 inch 720p tv and my sofa is right in front of it. The appx distance between the tv and the person on the sofa is about 8 feet (can’t move any further away). Lately, I’ve been wanting to upgrade to a rediculously large Mitsubishi 73 inch 1080p projection tv that got rave reviews.
Is this TV too big for a room my size? Also, would I be sitting too close to the tv? Another words, do I need to worry about messing up my vision or getting a headache from sitting too close (8 ft)? Any comments would be appreciated…

at first I called an electrition and he checked the air conditioning system and the electrical outlets and thinks it is my TV, the smell is so bad I have almost callled the fire dept a few times, I’m reallly in a pickle I can’t afford a new TV or TV repairman at the moment last week I had to buy a new car!! has annyone heard of this before?

I had it special ordered and it cost $10,000 it says it is a 1080 and it isn’t the kind of tv you can just go pick up at best buy. It doesn’t get much use now that the kinds have been out of the house for a few years. I expect the value to be a lot lower then I bought it for but I don’t want to give it away for free.

I have a sharp 72 inch projection, cable ready TV. It will hook up to DVD VCR combo and play movies just fine, but when I attempted to watch cable through the coaxial input input, I would get a fuzzy picture and no sound. This connection works just fine on other TV sets in the house…????HELP….

Thats why I dont understand why the fuzzy signal…..

I bought the tv back in march of 06, and I have not had any problems with it yet. But I have heard people are having lamp issues with it, so I am worried that I may have the same problems. I bought it for 2500, and was wondering if you guys think it was a good deal at the time. I bought it at costco and it came with the stand. I am curious also if that model was the correct one for the time I bought it. Which was march of 06. I hear people saying that they bought there in mid 05, and was wondering if I bought a year old model that I payed the full price for. Anyone who has either bought this tv or has info on it info on it, I would like your thoughts..Thank you very much

My tv looks somewhat like a lava lamp. There are blotches of blue that constantly change in shape and position on my screen. If my TV is displaying a blue still image it will also burn into the screen for about a minute. The color on the TV is perfect. I just wish I could get rid of the blue. This happened right after changing the lamp, but I was told that they were not related. Can anyone google better than me?
