What’s a good component switch box?

I have a rear projection high definition tv that is able to produce 1080i. The thing is that I can only connect one device to those component inputs. I was looking at some component switch boxes but not sure what to get. I don’t want anything expensive.

Some reviews on the switchers I’ve seen before explained there were darker than usual scenes in movies, fast action scenes would stall, green screens, and majorly the quality of the screen will go down and look blurry.

I also read that the component switcher should have a power supply with it to reach the definition of anything from 720p to 1080i.

I’ve been looking at these two Philips models. One of them is a manual switch and the other is an automatic switcher. I read that both aren’t great but then I found out Philips came out with another switcher as the automatic, just different model:

Can someone tell me what’s good to buy that works and is cheap? I’m willing to spend $50 for something that’d actually work – manual or automatic. I just want to hook up my dvd player, DVR and Xbox 360 to the component input so I can watch everything at 1080i instead of 480i/p. And yes, all those devices can handle 1080i.

there a shop where they sell and fix tvs they selling a 61inch projection tv don’t remember the brand…and is refurbish ….the bulb was replace on the tv….and i wanna know would the bulb go out in a short time or will it last unless a year….thank you for your help..and the price is $500 dollars is that a good price or not so good…

RCA Projection bulb flickers but dont come on? I have a 50 RCA Projection screen. and the bulb...

i want to get this TV for my ps3 and im also planning to watch blu-ray movies. its a 1080p rear projection LCD HDTV. is it good TV for ps3?

it was originally a $10,000 TV but I want to get rid of it and i would like to get something out of it. It works good looks good and is digital ready. thanks
I had it special ordered and it cost $10,000 it says it is a 1080 and it isn’t the kind of tv you can just go pick up at best buy. It doesn’t get much use now that the kinds have been out of the house for a few years. I expect the value to be a lot lower then I bought it for but I don’t want to give it away for free.

How can I get a replacement screen for my Mitsubishi Rear Projection TV? Is it possible? My daughted knocked something over which hit...

is digital cable as good a picture as satalite on a projection screen tv? ?

we have satalite now with high def. but were moving and want to get tv,phone, and internet all in one deal, but im not sure if the cable will be as good of a picture as the satalite…im not talking if the high def is as good, i mean all the channels.

Projection TVs are much cheaper than either wall mounted plasma screens or LCDs, and there’s no danger they’ll crash to the floor. You can carry the projector around easily and to set it up, all you need do is hang a white sheet on the wall. What advantages do large flat-screen TVs have?

I bought the tv back in march of 06, and I have not had any problems with it yet. But I have heard people are having lamp issues with it, so I am worried that I may have the same problems. I bought it for 2500, and was wondering if you guys think it was a good deal at the time. I bought it at costco and it came with the stand. I am curious also if that model was the correct one for the time I bought it. Which was march of 06. I hear people saying that they bought there in mid 05, and was wondering if I bought a year old model that I payed the full price for. Anyone who has either bought this tv or has info on it info on it, I would like your thoughts..Thank you very much

I have already tried using wax paper and a bed sheet as a screen, but i was wondering if anyone else has found better solution. the original screens were kicked in during a break in.

Will Blu-Ray still look good on my 1080i HDTV?

I have a Philips projection screen (not sure about the size I’d say diaganol the screen is about 45″) with a max output of 1080i and an HDMI capable reciever.

At Circuit City one time I saw a Blu Ray playing on a 1080p TV and it looked amazing and I was wondering if I would notice a significant decrease in quality if I played them on my PS3 on a 1080i?
