i have a mitsubishi projection screen tv. and on the front of it are three little bulbs and the one for the timer keeps blinking lately. And today my mom showed me that the bulb for the lamp and timer were both blinking. So if anybody knows anything about big screen tvs help! is the lamp fixing to go out?!

I recently bought a rear projection TV for cheap… its a 52″ philips from 2002… it has the 3 screens on it … but the middle screen is what i believe is causing the problem.

When you watch the tv… the left and right sides of the TV are darker than the middle… ive tried adjusting the colors and what not but nothing will work…

just to maybe make things a little more clear. The middle screen is the thick kinda plexy glass one… and on the left and right sides it seems to comin in more… so that if you look at the center it kinda looks like a circle on the plexy glass… the center being the more clear part….

… anyone know how i can fix this so the whole screen will be EQUALLY as nice? thank you for your time!

Sony KDF-60WF655 I knew when I bought this TV that I would have to someday have to change the user-replaceable bulb. I thought it would just go out and the “lamp” light would be red. That’s not what’s happening though. It’s just slowly over time getting darker. I’ve got the brightness maxed out and it’s OK, but it’s not the bright vibrant picture it used to be. Is it a bulb or something needing service?

well i hearing from everybody any big projection tv , the bulbs only last 1000-2000 hours, and you need to replace them often, and they cost atleast 250, so then i googled for a bit and found some people saying there are cheap lumens projectors you can get, and you can get bulbs for only 50 bucks and they last atleast 4000 hours

is this true and how good are they, i want a huge one, im talking biggg the better, atleast 120 inches if not more, i want the picture to be pretty good, hd or almost that even, i want to watch normal satiellte receivers, video games, dvds, etc, so whats me best beat for longetivty and cheap

also im looking to spend under 500, lower the better, and by the way do you need anything else, i heard you need to hook it up to your tv, is this true, how does it actual work ,i thought you just hook it up to your receiver and thats it

I just bought a 52″ Samsung LCD and hooked it up to my existing analog stereo system (which worked fine from my previous Hitachi Projection TV). Now if I use both the TV speakers and the stereo speakers in unison, the TV plays its audio slightly before the stereo, creating an echo effect.
I want to say Fisher, but I thought they only made speakers. The receiver may be JVC. I can try another input when I get home, but the only ones it has are Video and Phono (tape, CD, etc are all built in).
