Problems with Mitsubishi projection screen TV?
I have a 52 inch projection TV model # WD-52527. It seems like there are blotches or smudge-like areas behind the screen. If I were to open the back cover, what do I need to clean or remove/clean? Another issue I am having (may possibly be related) is it the brightness. The picture is nowhere near as bright as it used to be. Its gotten to the point where it is impossible to see dark scenes when I have any lights on in the room. I know it isnt the lamp because that was replaced recently.

there are mirrors and a lens that need to be cleaned. It’s a pretty tricky job to pull the fronts off to get to the mirrors and the lens. I highly suggest you call a technician out to do it. Watch him and you can save the money the second time around.
