This sounds like one of those off brands you can buy on Ebay. Stick with the major name brands, even if they cost more. I don’t think you’ll be happy with this projector and I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t last more than a few months and the specs are all made-up

If I’m wrong and this is a Optoma, Epsom, Panasonic, Sony, etc. brand then it’s probably a good buy.

Specifications dont tell you everything about picture quality, and there are alot of specification (like refresh rate) that are overrated. That is the new thing on HD TV’s that everyone thinks makes a big difference and the manufactures are playing it up. Lumens are important, and more so if being viewed in a non darkened room. If you are going to view this for home theater applications dont settle spend alittle more and get a projector that you are able to watch 1080p material. The costs of 1080p projectors has come down considerably and now affordable, but dont underestimate the importance of a good screen. I highly recommend the stewart film screens particularly the greyhawk.

Right now for the money the Panasonic AE4000 has a wonderful picture which would have cost in the 10′s of thousand (US dollars) to get anything like it.

Save and get something you will truly enjoy

The contrast rating of 500:1 is far too low, since most movie quality DVDs are rated at 2000:1 contrast levels. Otherwise, pass on this offer.

    Good luck!
