Is there a use for a rear projection TV screen?

I have received a broken 50″ rear projection TV and taken apart the front. I am going to use the fresnel lens and I have a use for the plexiglass, but can anybody tell me what the sheet is with the horizontal lines on it? I don’t want to throw it away, I’m sure there’s something I can do with it.

  1. TV TECH-manĀ® says:

    It’s called a Lenticular Lens….

It’s purpose is to enhance pixel focus and increase detail…

    It’s not a magnifying lens as much as it’s a pixel separator/edge enhancer…..
