Take a good look at JVC HD-ILA
    the picture quality is awesome
within the light box are rotary slits that
alter the phase of the backlight sources

Also look at Panasonic Projection LCD TV’s
the features are awesome anything hooks up to one
including 2 PC’s at one time

those 2 should offer a wide range of sizes
and styles I am certain you will be happy
with either one I would lean towards the JVC
    for the programming you listed

ive havent had much exprerience with a plasma, but in mt opinion, you should probobly get a sony, or a samsung. BUT, if youre using it for games, youre gonna want better framerates, so be sure it has an output of 1080p(p stands for progressive scan and i satands for interlaced. hope that helps!

Well the GAMING really requires a DLP or an LCD TV set.
It’s better if you choose a Solid State LED Lamp or the Laser Lamp for reliability….
With your NEED of HDMI and Component inputs……

I’d take a REAL CLOSE LOOK at a MITSUBISHI….they normally STUFF a whole bunch of HDMI and Component inputs into their TVs.
Plus the newest ones are LASER and 1080P…..

Now Sony may make a Solid State LED with Multiple inputs….

    So let’s get a list going…..
PS-3 X-Box (HDMI?) and Wii (HDMI?)
DVD (HDMI?) and your CABLE/Satellite (HDMI?)

    2 HDMI minimum/4 HDMI maximum
    3 component minimum/4 maximum
I doubt you’re going to find a total of EIGHT HD inputs, but you’ll find 2 HDMI and 3 Component inputs on most Mitsubishi TVs I’m sure……

HDMI does Dolby sound, so it’s best for the DVD and the CABLE/Sat connections…..PS-3 is HDMI too….

So maybe you want 3 HDMI and 3 Component…..

Start looking at Mitsubishi or Sony…..
You can look at Hitachi , Toshiba, and Panasonic too…..

But you should make sure WHATEVER brand you buy has a local Authorized Service center…..

That should weed out the ones you don’t want….Inputs and local service….
Solid State lighting is just a plus on the TV…..
