I have a 65″ Mits projection screen. It only weighs 94lbs. Whats the best method of moving it on a UHAUL?

65 inch mits 1080p TV. No original box …movers trashed it. I want to protect the screen and outer of scratches. I am moving from texas to tennessee. Remove lamp?

    Yes, remove the lamp and place it in a padded box in the cab of the truck.

    Take 2 big fluffy quilts….Oh you live in Texas…..Take 10 Thin blankets and lay it over the front and back of the TV set…..Place the Screen (Front) towards the OUTSIDE walls of the van….Use cloth-based tie down straps to strap it to the wall…..You can place any clothing /clothes/towels over it and around it if you want. You just do not want heavy items around it like refrigerators and washing machines.

    These TVs handle the road vibration a lot better if they are moved towards the front of the U-Haul….placing them over the back axle or farther back is really not wise….it’s more brutal on them.
