When this happened on my 3 year old JVC projection, the repairman replaced the entire board after his initial replacement of one part did not work. $400. The problem is that this repair comes with no warranty if the tv stops working the very next day. When i called a 2nd repairman, he said he will not work on 3 year old tv’s. In the old days, tv’s lasted for 20 years.
