I have a 3 year old 52″ Mitsubishi DLP TV the picture is not very bright even after a lamp change?

I changed the lamp with a manufactures projection lamp but the picture did not change very much is there any thing else I can do?

    Resolution has nothing to do with brightness of a unit.

    Make sure you have the setting of the lamp mode to High Power and not Low power.

    You might have a problem with the unit, the PSU on those units tend to have minor problems that needs to be fixed, and those bad parts in there can effect the ballast power to the bulb causing the lamp not to get very bright.

    If it doesn’t look the same as when you first bought it then you probably have something wrong with your unit.
