I have a 1080p 56 inch rear projection hdtv, what can i do on my xbox 360 and/or tv to get the best quality?

    Thats the best/only way to hook it up to get 1080P since the 360 does not use a HDMI hook up. Just make sure your setting in the 360 are correct and thats it.

    If your TV accepts HDMI, DVI, or VGA you can purchase a Xbox 360 VGA cable (and the suiting adapter if you are using HDMI or DVI) to enable 1080p output from the 360.

    Many argue, however, that the Component cables that come with the $399.99 MSRP “Premium” Xbox 360 provide the best picture when set to 720p. This could be because games for the Xbox 360 are programmed in the resolution 1280 x 720, 720p.
