how do i make my TV 1080p?
its a large Mitsubishi 2002 model. it was the 1080p series. now im trying to make it 1080p but i cant figure it out here is its model

First, the link you posted says the set is 1080i (not p).
Second, the set is “HD Ready” meaning it doesn’t have a digital tuner. An external ATSC tuner is required.
Beyond that, the resolution is set by the video, not the set. So, if you feed it 480i, it will display 480i. If you feed it 1080i, it will display 1080i.
well if you really want to get the most out of your hdtv get yourself a ps3 or a blu-ray player and connect it to the hdmi ports your tv should have, that way the resolution will be true 1080p
