How do I fix my Sony Grand Wega KDF-50E2000 Projection Screen TV?
My KDF-50E2000 will come on just fine. The power light blinks green while the TV starts up and then the screen will come up. I could swear that there is some fading in the picture but I can’t really be sure. After a couple of minutes of being on the TV restarts itself, essentially. The screen goes black and the power light is blinking green once again, and after warming up for about 30 seconds the screen comes back up again like nothing happened. What do I do to fix this? I just got the TV from a friend and he said that the lamp has been recently replaced.

i think there is a problem. to fix this you are going to use the instructions the people gave you while they were doing your tv for you
When the green light blinks a SECOND time, that means the TV set is RE-FIRING the lamp…..
And that means your lamp is not holding it’s arc….
And that means the LAMP is bad, because it’s losing pressure, which makes it hard to hold it’s arc….
So it’s time for another new lamp…..
