How do I fix my projection TV if the picture is in double?
I have a Magnaox 55″ TV projection screen and it shows double picture. I was wondering how do I fix the picture, if I have picture(the green and blue work together and the red picture acts as though it is doubling). PLEASE HELP me.

ya got to get the code to fix the geometry (convergence) you need to have a TV tech look at it no one will give you the code this is how we make money
Nonsense….I’ve done dozens of convergence adjustments on RPTV’s over the years, all via the user end menu.
If you need to call a service tech in to do this, then don’t ever buy Magnavox products again.
alright here is the real answer, if the convergence error if very bad, then you most likely need the convergence amps replaced. if it is just a small error go inot the customer convergence adjust menu and line up the crosses. If this does not help with your issue and some sections of the screen are still out of convergence, you would need to go into the service mode and do a touch up on the convergence. on most newer magnavox sets the code is to press 062597 and then the “status” button on the remote in that order and this should bring you into the convergence service menu and allow you to touch it up. I would only do this if you feel completely sure you are comfertable with it because you can really mess up your convergence in this mode.
