help! need help with Sony LCD projection TV mystory / has blue horseshoe shaped color on top of screen?
Sony kf-60we610 LCD projection TV has blue horseshoe shaped color on top of screen. replaced lamp, no change. still image of previous input like dvd menu or Wii menu displayed as translucent blue horseshoe image at top of screen.

OK first make sure that it’s not somekind of light reflection from the outside.
If not than most of the case the problem comes from the optical block inside (one of the mirror or optical filter inside must causing this). Well I’m not supprise by this problem since the heat that lamp generates is very hot, must causing malfunction like foging/burn/crack inside the optical block.
