my tv (sony rear projection kp41t25) has no picture but has sound. It worked less then 2 hrs ago and there was nothing unusal that happend during that time peroid. There in no light coming from the bulbs and absolutly nothing on the screen. the display does not even work. If anyone has any ideas or even wants to purchase a cheap Tv to work ok or purchase the bulbs. PLEASE HELP?

At first the color on the tv had an orange tint to it. Now the color is a dark blue almost black color and i cant see a thing. I took off the back cover and only the blue lamp seemed to be on. The green lamp had very little light and was very dim. And the red lamp had no light. Does anyone no what the problem is and how to fix it please help. thank you

We just recived a mitsubishi 1996 52″ projection screen tv for free and the only problem with it is the red color. When I go to adjust the blue color I can see the diffrent colors and turn them to white with the cross hairs but there is only a white cross hair when I go to the white and it looks like there is a cresent shape out of the side of the screen view. I am assuming that the projection is off…the people said this happend when they moved it to their basement so I am sure that they didn’t keep it level..
Any ideas on how to fix this??

My KDF-50E2000 will come on just fine. The power light blinks green while the TV starts up and then the screen will come up. I could swear that there is some fading in the picture but I can’t really be sure. After a couple of minutes of being on the TV restarts itself, essentially. The screen goes black and the power light is blinking green once again, and after warming up for about 30 seconds the screen comes back up again like nothing happened. What do I do to fix this? I just got the TV from a friend and he said that the lamp has been recently replaced.

50″ DLP TV problem. The screen went yellow in the center, and eventually went all yellow. What could this be?
I can get this on the cheap. But with TVs things are either easy or super expensive. I’ve heard that you can warm up the IC’s and perhaps fix the problem, can anyone assist with advice?

I have a big scren that recently has a blue cloud right in the middle of the screen and it’s really annoying. I am wanting to know how much I am looking at into fixing this as this is a great TV and not wanting to get rid of it. What is the cause of this and is it an easy fix? This is not a DLP. The TV is still brand new just got it 11/20/07 the XBOX a week before. I hooked it up using the Belkin HDMI cable and it worked for awhile but then I experience what looks like railroad track pixels in the text on my 360. I bought the $50 Microsoft 360 cable and it fixed the problem only now it is happening again. I switched to my DVD player which uses a Rocket HDMI cable and it was doing the same thing. The TV is LCD Rear Projection 1080p with DLP. My guess is something is wrong with the TV because when I use the component cables it plays fine every time or is there something wrong with HDMI they are not telling us.

Hi! I have a 57″ Mitsubishi 1080P High definition projection screen tv. It is two years old and has had the bulb replaced last year because it went out. A couple of days ago, I noticed a small white spot on the tv screen, it looks like light is shining through the screen, which doesn’t make sense since it is a projection tv? Within a few hours there were two spots, then 3! Today when I turned on the TV, there was 6 spots! I dont know what could be wrong with it, anybody ever had this happen before? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!
No, the spots don’t move or flicker or anything. And they are always there, Ive tried turning the tv off then back on but that doesn’t do anything..

Ok so my dad has a 50″ RCA lamp powered tv although it has broken down before from a fuse that short circuted from being disconnected immediately now when i woke up today i turned it on and it made this noise like a rattling noice in the back then the light strated flickering and it just stood like that now i dont know if it’s because sometimes my parents leave it on from amybe 8-2 am please help

My family owns a Zenith rear projection LCD model E44W46LCD. We have owned it for about 3 years and always made sure to clean/replace the filter on a regular basis. Roughly 3 weeks ago, I noticed a blue spot on the left side of the TV, that spot has now grown and a yellow blotch has appeared in the center of the TV along with the blue spot. Oh and the lamp indicator is orange which means the lamp is getting near it’s service life and needs replacing. My question is, is the lamp going or could the light engine be failing? The fact that the picture is dim leads me to believe it’s the lamp but I would like further information.

IT’S A DLP PROJECTION T.V. My LCOS projection screen tv is shutting off and coming right back on randomly. It can go for several hours or just a minute before shutting off. When it does this no trouble lights flash and the lamp trouble light is not lit. The only suggestion I got from Sony was to unplug for 5 minutes and ensure that it is plugged directly into outlet. The tv is only a year old and circulation is not restricted and the fan seems to be working fine. Any ideas?
