Anyone have any experience cleaning the lenses on a projection big screen tv?
I need to clean mine, but have never tried it and want to make sure it’s done correctly. Do the cleaning kits come with instructions?

The cleaning kits you are talking about most likely are for the front screens (the ones you watch). You are talking about cleaning the lenses (the inside mirrors? the tubes?).
I would not recommend cleaning them yourself if you are talking about the inside mirrors/tubes.
I work for a consumer electronics sales/service store and I won’t even TOUCH mine. There are too many things that can get messed up inside the tv and turn an easy clean into a big repair.
If it is the insides that need cleaning it is best to let a tv tech clean it. They should also do a convergence on the screen when they clean it. It may not be just the mirrors/lenses that need cleaning/adjusting.
If you are cleaning just the outer screen (or the screen protector) there are cleaning kits you can buy that will come with the instructions for that.
